Introduction to Japan Study Tours
Entrepreneurship Tours
You will visit and tour venture companies, entrepreneurs preparing to start their own businesses, successful companies, companies with unique business models, and companies that represent their regions. The opportunity to speak directly with representatives or department heads will help you discover business models, learn about the entrepreneurial mindset, provide networking opportunities, and vitalize your entrepreneurial aspirations.
Company Visits and Factory Tours
We can arrange visits to Japanese companies and factory tours. It is possible to organize tours of various schools, companies, government authorities, and organizations. Upon request, we can also provide opportunities for you to speak directly with representatives from the companies you visit.
School Observation, Educational Site, and Education Industry-Related Tours
We can visit and observe kindergartens, nursery schools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities, junior colleges, vocational schools, and government educational institutions. We can also arrange discussions and exchange programs with school teachers and government educational institutions to help you understand the Japanese educational system. Many school officials and principals have previously participated in our study tours.
School Visits, Exchanges, and Field Trips
We can arrange exchange programs between schools and meet your needs. Visits to kindergartens, nursery schools, elementary schools, middle schools, high schools, universities, junior colleges, and vocational schools can be arranged to conduct the exchanges.
Japanese Culture Experiences
These tours allow you to experience a variety of Japanese culture. We can arrange tour experiences such as kimonos, Zen meditation, tea ceremonies, pottery, calligraphy, Japanese cooking, art, and others, according to your needs. This is a program where tour members will not only see, but actually participate and experience.
Art Tours
This is a program for learning about Japanese art. Since the scope of art is very broad, we will decide on the program content according to your needs. We will observe works of art at museums; public art; and offer guidance on viewing artworks by perspective, such as comparison to background. We can also arrange for you to meet with artists, and take part in art workshops.
Traditional Craft Tour
We will visit a local traditional craft workshop, and provide information about the type of craft through viewing the works. We can also arrange for you to interact with artisans, and take part in craft-making workshops.
Architectural Tours
This program is focused toward learning about Japanese architecture. We will select the buildings for visiting and touring, based upon your request. We can also arrange for you to meet with architects. It is also possible to organize an architectural bike tour, during which participants may view the exterior of various buildings.
Pop Culture Tours
This is a program focused on learning about Japanese pop culture, such as manga, anime, movies, games, and cosplay. We can also arrange workshops and exchanges with manga artists and gaming companies, as well as arrange for your participation in special events, when they are held.
Cosmetology Tour
This tour is mainly for students of cosmetology. Students will visit and observe cosmetology schools in Japan. Participation in workshops is also possible. Upon request, we can arrange visits to Japanese salons, observation tours, and provide opportunities to speak with the salon owners.
Homestay in Japan
We can arrange a homestay for you in Japan. A homestay in a Japanese home, and with a Japanese family, is the best way to learn about the country’s lifestyle and culture, and to broaden your international horizons through deep, meaningful interaction with Japanese people. Activities such as cooking Japanese food with your host family, wearing a kimono, and participating in local festivals will provide you with an in-depth experience of Japan, as well as a chance to get to know the real Japan. You have the option of a homestay with or without meals. It is also possible to participate in other study tours, simultaneous to your homestay. The homestay program can be one of the most gratifying and unforgettable life experiences, as you can continue to maintain interaction and make Japanese friends, even after the study tour has concluded.
Agricultural Experiences and Farm Stays
This program offers farming experiences, such as harvesting crops. You can learn about Japanese agriculture through interaction with farmers. It is also possible to stay overnight at a farmhouse. In addition to agriculture, there are programs geared toward fishing experiences.
Other Types of Tours
We can also arrange customized tours for professors, researchers, historians, philosophers, doctors, caregivers, photographers, clergy, and other professionals.
